This weekend we had our Sandgate end of season presentation in Hayes and it was super fun to see my friends from the team and celebrate together. We all had to dress smart and our coach gave us trophies for the hard work. Everyones parents came along to join in the fun and it’s a lovely way to end the season.

I’m enjoying my time at Sandgate FC and keen to get cracking and work hard so I will win player of the year award next year. There are some great players in my team and everyone works well together.

Things I’ve learnt this season are:-ย To be aware of what’s happening in the game, almost predict what is going to happen and react with super lighting speed. I am very fast on the pitch and I have a tremendous amount of energy, I need to learn to use that to my advantage. To play as team, we need to play as a united team and ask for the ball when we want it, communicating is really important. To be hungry for the ball, my goal is to crave the ball when we play and never give even if we are loosing, watching some old matches on you tube makes you realise when theย professionalsย play they never give up and one player can turn the game around. To be the best at my position, that’s my ultimate goal I want to and will be the best player.
