This weekend we had our Surrey League Presentation which I was really looking forward to as it’s the end of all our hard work and the teams receive awards. We dressed up for the occasion and looked rather smart as a team together. We were handed our trophies for being Runners-up in the Surrey League. Mum and Dad were super proud and it always makes me feel happy when they get emotional. Mum reckons I will need a bigger room for all my awards and medals soon… which is cool.
I’m really enjoying Sandgate FC and I am learning so much from Tony, Dale and Rob, they are amazing coaches and have made me feel so welcome. They are also passionate about football and that’s why I like playing and training. I feel like they haven’t seen the best of me yet, so I got so much more to give them. The main thing that I can take away from this seasons games and training is that I need to train harder and play stronger and faster, as my aim is to win the League and become player of the season.
